How do you build a cycleway bridge over an (electrified) main truck railway track for metro and freight trains?  This is the challenge facing NZTA as part of the cycleway project from Meadowbank to Glen Innes. NZTA have engaged DC Signals at the pre-tender stage of the project as they are well aware of our credentials in efficient railway access. DC Signals has worked with the client to develop a clear understanding of:

• Permit requirements

• Block of Line access

• Block of Line limitations

• Realistic track time

• Scope of work that can be completed during normal day hours (metro train operations)

• Scope of work that can be completed during nights (non-metro operations).
